 | Saturday, September 26th, 2009: Chicago (A) Loses Wes Littleton
Wes Littleton had to leave the White Sox game against Seattle after suffering a strained back muscle while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 1-2 weeks. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."
So far this season, Littleton has compiled a 13-3 won-lost mark with 5 saves and a 4.14 ERA. In 150 innings he has fanned 169 and opponents are hitting him at a .221 clip.
