But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I'm a competitor," the feisty Colorado third baseman said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Glaus out of action for 2 weeks.
