Saturday, September 26th, 2009: Red-Hot Wilson Scorches Orioles
Who needs batting practice? Bobby Wilson of Minnesota apparently doesn't as he battered Baltimore with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 17-0 win.

He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?"

B. Wilson hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off S. Schmoll in the 8th.

This season Wilson is swinging the bat at a .357 rate with 183 hits in 512 at-bats. To date he has hit 15 home runs, scored 77 runs and driven in 95.
