 | Saturday, September 5th, 2009: Elizabethton Shuts Out Orioles In an impressive outing, Harry Labarge whitewashed the Bluefield Orioles 13-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Labarge, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Elizabethton hurler held Bluefield scoreless, allowed 5 hits, chalked up 8 strikeouts and yielded 2 walks. In 2009 Labarge has a 6-5 record with a 2.58 ERA. |
