 | Monday, September 7th, 2009: Tucker Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury Lakewood team officials speculated whether star reliever Ryan Tucker would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a tender shoulder in yesterday's matchup with the Delmarva Shorebirds. Tucker denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. Tucker has nailed down 1 save for the year. He has also totaled 120 strikeouts and 38 walks in 111.2 innings while registering a 3.06 ERA and a 6-3 won-lost record. |
